Oil on mango
The Sky Father harvested his corn, choosing the most beautiful one. He began to pray until Corn Mother came forth. He asked her to bring back the people and creatures. They were hidden below in a cave while he had cleansed the earth. Corn Mother descended from the sky and went down to where they gathered. She emerged leading the people and creatures to the light. She took her people to the West where she gave them seeds to plant the corn that would feed them. She then reminded them to honor the earth and make blessings to the four directions.
